These brushes have a very fine, springy tip and are long enough to hold plenty of ink or paint. I loaded the brush with watery paint, then some more concentrated paint, then touched the tip to the full strength of the paint. Or touched the tip of a different brush with a different color and just been mesmerized by what came out. I'm a calligrapher who really appreciates pressure and relaxation, from very fine lines to very broad lines, and these brushes are wonderful. I bought these for a calligraphy class and my teacher liked them, especially as they worked better than more expensive brushes.
