CHLORIS Driftwood Aquarium Branches Decoration Review

First, the number one reason to buy a spider tree is for its spider branches. None of the three sticks (and yes they were sticks) look like the photo. Basically these were sticks that were slightly bent/twisted with 1-2 free branches. Secondly, this product was marked with 7-10 inches each. This just wasn't true as what I received was digitally measured 4.81 inches. I was very disappointed with the purchase.

I have a 6 gallon nano tank. The parts were smaller than expected and not in the shape I expected. I had to trim most of them because there were a lot of tiny/thin knots on one side. The third piece was awkwardly shaped and didn't look good no matter how I inserted it. I only have 2 so far and they look decent. They were very inexpensive so I think they were worth it to make the aquarium look more natural. Don't forget to cook them!

Received 2 medium and a small piece some time ago! They keep well, wish I'd cooked them longer, but live and learn. Excellent value for money and quality! The parts I received definitely had a lot of character to work with! Update: I got my second 3 piece set and they are even better! Would give 6/6 stars if I could! The largest piece was 8.5 x 7 inches, the other two were 6 and 7 inches. You won't find a better deal and it's just a lot of fun to play with! I can't wait to get her in the water!

My catfish need wood in their diet, but many of them are very young and I was afraid they would break off a piece that was too sharp. I was also afraid that other fish might trip over it and pierce it - I should have thought better of that. My fault so I keep it. Maybe break them up into small pieces and then the larger pieces will be safe and soft enough for everyone. This takes about 2 hours, otherwise they won't drown. In the end it will probably be fine

Used them to decorate two of my aquariums. They are around 10-12 inches long with a knot and several branches. I soaked them for a few days to get the tannins out, but the water never discolored, so I think they were fine. Two parts sank immediately, one had to be filled with water, which took a few days. These are three decent pieces of spiderwood that go perfectly together in the aquascape. The wood was very well padded and packaged and everything arrived undamaged. The size description is correct but the pieces I received are not as 3 dimensional and do not have as many smaller knots as the wood shown in the product images. Any part pictured in the description can work as the main part in the scape, but I have to glue my own to get a more natural and less shaggy look. I wanted the product…
