I still like this knife as it keeps the blade sharp

I also broke the blade at the distal end in a fall. And I don't recall any other Steel Blades doing that, either. However, I still love the knife as it keeps the edge sharp. I have a chef's knife and I love it when my big steel turns into a blade.

Pros
  • . This handle is designed to ease the wrist and reduce fatigue.
Cons
  • Weight

perfect - almost on paring knife

The Porsche Chroma 301 knives are amazing. I have a paring knife and a chef's knife and they are both the best knives in my kitchen. They are amazingly sharp and perfectly balanced. However, I must warn you that the 3.25" paring knife has a dangerous tendency to ROLL on the countertop. Unless you put it blade down intentionally, it will roll blade up, which is dangerous if you value your fingers.

Pros
  • The bead at the bottom of the handle serves as a sensor stop
Cons
  • doubt

Forget about this form and go to functionality!

Expensive. For sharpening you need an expensive brand block. Uncomfortable grip that always rolls, leaving the blade pointing dangerously up. Extremely brittle steel that breaks easily. For most people, this will be the only kitchen knife they've ever broken. Yes, it's called Porsche and it was used in the TV series Hannibal, but honestly: spend $7. more and get a much better 4" WΓΌsthof 4066710 paring knife.

Pros
  • From Brand: Chroma
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Chroma 3-1/4 " Paring Knife purchased December 2011

I bought this paring knife for my husband in November 2011. It was on his Christmas wish list. Although I personally found the handle design awkward, he went with it Happy with the knife and used it daily for peeling and slicing apples.Judging by the reviews and the Porsche name I think this is a quality tool.Unfortunately the knife fell on the ground recently and the blade is in half I have had quality knives for years and have never seen a steel blade do this. I could see if it was a ceramic…

Pros
  • Color Value: Silver
Cons
  • No Instructions
