This thing works well on many things. I clean my whetstones with it. In addition, it works on slightly rusty surfaces. I sent them to friends.

I bought this to use on my chainsaws as the salty air in Southern California causes rust on almost everything. This works very well. A few taps on light rust will melt it. Highly recommended.

I was drawn to the Burrfection YouTube channel and I have to say it's awesome. I've used it to remove rust from two of my knives and also to clean water stones for sharpening.

I really like it, written entirely in Chinese, but I think you will understand how to use it. This makes cleaning the whetstones quick and easy. It has a thousand other uses too, this thing is a keeper! If you sharpen your own knives, you definitely need this.

I love this stone. As other reviewers say, it's effective but hurts itself badly. no loss of surface. I've also used it to clean synthetic stone and it did a wonderful job of leaving the stone looking new! I fully recommend this mighty little stone!
