small office use. works well. but need more RAM

seems normal, mainly used for editing pdf files. Opening multiple PDF files causes slowdowns due to low memory. The computer that was replaced had more RAM so the user now has to shut down more often, but sff is great! will buy more as the big towers are dying.

Pros
  • understandable for old ones too
Cons
  • Minor problems

Good computers and accessories

I was looking for a smaller laptop and came across the GT Box, it looks a lot like HiGame, their expensive Core i7 mini pc. But this one is far from powerful, but suitable for light computing needs. It uses a Core i3 5005U, yes, an older chip that is at least more powerful than the Celeron N4100, at least one core. The mini PC has 8 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD, Intel Wireless AC 3165 and space for a 2.5 inch SSD or hard drive. It runs on Windows 10, has a Gigabit LAN port, 2 HDMI 1.4A ports for working…

NOT 4 USB 3.0 ports as advertised

This is a nifty little computer that still runs like lightning. However, the ad states in at least two places that the machine comes with 4x3.0 USB ports, in fact the machine comes with 2x2.0 and 2x3.0 as you can see in the photo above from another review. The folks at Revain assured me it was a mistake and even sent me the exact same machine for replacement. Summing up, we can say that this is a good computer, but the manufacturer has distorted the characteristics. I got less than what I paid…

No Regrets: Computers & Accessories

Looking for an inexpensive fanless mini computer to integrate with home audio/video. It went on sale on Prime Day for $240 - so cheap I feared disappointment. Works as advertised. Ideal as a music server with space for an additional hard drive. I don't need top-of-the-line graphics or high-performance computing, and I don't need to double the price.

And a delightful little tower

This delightful little computer was bought on the best possible day and for the price it certainly ticks all the boxes. Chuwi has built a reputation for selling products that match the price they are sold at as they are a Chinese company that manufactures in China. While the Core i3 is nothing special in terms of processing power with this particular configuration and integrated graphics, the form factor is. I really like the compact look of this case. It resembles a tower but shrunk to 1/4…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Pleasantly surprised

After looking at other similar "mini PCs" I settled on this one based on the processor and the size of the SSD. While others I looked at offered Windows Pro, 3 display support, or USB-C, they also came with slower processors and/or smaller SSDs. Out of this group, this little CHUWI suits my needs the best and so far I am very happy with my purchase. After unboxing the unit, I quickly (and easily) added the second hard drive I had (1 Terabyte HD) on which I would store my data. Setting up…

Not a slot but will play many games at lower framerates. Great for htpc.

I like the design of the device. Very quiet. It loads quickly in 8 seconds or less. Be sure to apply any updates prior to use. This is not a slot machine! It's perfect for your everyday computing needs. I bought it mainly for streaming in HD and it works flawlessly. I don't know 4k but 1080p is perfect. You can't beat the price! I would recommend this to anyone who needs a computer for everyday use and as an HTPC. I love it!

Pros
  • New in my collection
Cons
  • Something different

Great for seniors! on computers and accessories

So, my father's computer was already tired and he needed a new one (it was in the mid 80's). I did a lot of research to find out which computer is best for him. All he really does is check email, look at video attachments here and there, print stuff out and maybe write a letter or something. Additional research showed that even the cheapest Dell Vostro started at 600 (comp only), which was more than it really needed. The repair was much cheaper, but all the hardware was expired. I came across…

Pros
  • Reliable design
