Best cheap add-on mirror I've used

They worked great on my 2014 F150 XLT with a 27ft RV. They fit the outside of OEM mirrors. There is a wedge that holds them without breaking or damaging the original mirror. The extra mirror was too stiff when unpacked so I sprayed silicone on the inside where the mirror pivots. I worked on it before putting it on Pyror for its second use. Without the silicone, the mirrors looked like they would break when adjusted. I've looked at hundred dollar mirrors plus tow mirrors but for me they will do…

They work well for tow mirrors

I used them for about a year or two before finally buying the factory tow mirrors for my truck. I got tired of manually adjusting them depending on the trailer I was towing. They work well for the price. I put small convex mirrors on it to improve visibility but it didn't really help much. If you frequently tow different trailers, you'll have to rebuild them each time, which becomes tedious. It's faster with the second person. I would just save your money and buy real towing mirrors which have…

Made for F150 but managed to get it working on my expedition.

I bought these for my 2008 Ford Expedition although they are not designed for that. Nobody makes overhead mirrors for the Expedition and for some stupid reason Ford had to use different mirrors for the Expeditions even though it's the same chassis as the F150. Although they don't technically fit properly, they slide on top but not all the way down. In my case I just screwed two screws into the back of the mirror to attach it to the factory mirror and it holds up great and looks great. Doesn't…

Excellent mirrors for Ford F150 2014

THIS IS SUPER! I read the reviews here and bought it. They seemed pretty cheap and crappy at first and it was hard to figure out the orientation of the little wedge at first, but they're actually pretty good. Now I can see traffic behind all my trailers and the mirrors no longer vibrate at 60mph. They are easily removed leaving only a few small scratch marks, nothing permanent. My truck has folding mirrors and they fold up with no issues or problems. They even have puddle lamp cutouts on the…

Finding a middle ground for highway and reverse use may take a few tries

After using these mirrors for almost two years, they generally work well. Obviously, with a manual adjustment, it may take several attempts to find an ideal spot for highway and reverse use. The driver's side mirror didn't tighten very well with the included gasket and thumbscrew. As a result, it went off the track and had to be replaced. The mirror itself appears to be of good quality and remains clear with no material defects. I use my 5 wheel camper and think these are the best expandable…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Fits truck mirrors well and they do what they are supposed to do, at least on the driver's side. Maybe it's me, but I just can't align the passenger side in a meaningful way. The mirror itself is rigid and there doesn't seem to be enough movement to adjust it properly. I've had them for about a year now and they stayed pressed firmly against the mirrors when I used them. However, the passenger side mirror flew off as we drove west to South Dakota. When I came back to pick it up, I was surprised

A practical and functional alternative to full mirrors.

I have had these mirrors for about 6 years. There were others on the market; However, they most closely matched the style of existing mirrors. They're easy to put on and secure with a little adjustment. The hardest part is aligning the little shoe with a knurled screw behind the mirror. So the mirror is attached to the truck. If you do this a few times, it becomes second nature. On average, each page takes no more than five minutes. Be sure to clean your truck mirrors before each use to avoid…
