Review on πŸ‘€ Enhance Your Towing Experience with CIPA 11800 Custom Ford Towing Mirrors - Pair, Black & Silver, 18-inch by Rolando Munoz

A practical and functional alternative to full mirrors.

I have had these mirrors for about 6 years. There were others on the market; However, they most closely matched the style of existing mirrors. They're easy to put on and secure with a little adjustment. The hardest part is aligning the little shoe with a knurled screw behind the mirror. So the mirror is attached to the truck. If you do this a few times, it becomes second nature. On average, each page takes no more than five minutes. Be sure to clean your truck mirrors before each use to avoid scratching during installation. I used blue masking tape to protect the painted skullcaps on the factory mirrors. The plastic is textured and complements the truck. The mirrors continue to fold in with no problems. Enlist the help of a friend or family member to adjust the rearview mirrors while staying in the driver's seat. You must use both hands to move the mirror lens inside the housing to adjust it properly. On the road with a 27-foot trailer, the mirrors stick out just enough for you to see traffic on the sides of the trailer. Adjusting visibility so that your truck's mirrors work with the towing mirrors reduces the risk of blind spots. The rear/backward field of view is really good. You can easily see the rear bumper and tires, which helps you gauge your position on the move. In general they work fine. And when you're done, just delete and save them. Are they worth it? If you tow around the clock, consider factory-style towing mirrors. However, if you tow occasionally and don't want the extra large towing mirrors working all the time, then yes, they're worth it.
