CIPA 45292 Manual Replacement Passenger Review

This mirror fits and looks great! I bought one for the driver's side a while ago and it fits perfectly. When I first received it, I noticed a stain on it. Upon closer inspection I noticed it was a booger or something, it was easily separated with a napkin.

I bought these replacement mirrors for my '93 Ford F150, they are a poor design just like the OEM mirrors and the die cast aluminum lever breaks at the slightest impact and the quality of the aluminum castings in them after-market mirror is very bad, worse than OEM. As an upgrade for my truck I also have some LED turn signals that are located behind the mirror glass itself and since there is no good way to remove all of the glass to install the LED lights I just smashed the existing mirror…

I was a little hesitant after reading a review that said the mirrors "make his truck look cheap". I don't know what he was talking about, as far as I can tell they are complete copycats of the original mirrors. (Unless they were brand new). The crease in the design works smoothly, which is important to me as I've been looking for a replacement from the start. (They didn't work out when my teenage nephew came across them). So this time I will remember to install and remove them from time to time
