    Perfect cockpit mirror; for cars: warning.

    I bought them for the cockpit mirrors and they do a good job. They have a fisheye effect but serve a purpose. I also tried on my car and they fit the 2016 Corolla mirrors BUT. . . They distort the view more than I would like. A car 10 feet behind me looks tiny and distant. It covers most of the factory mirror, so getting it back (unless you remove it) isn't easy. The double sided tape didn't work and half a day in the sun left the mirror on the floor. The price is $2.00. But for the automatic…

    This is a glass mirror.

    I know it's a glass mirror because I broke it through no fault of the maker or manufacturer. I applied pressure to the surface of the mirror. While removing the ill-fitting small round convex mirror that was on my car, I pulled the car mirror out of its housing. So I figured it would make it easier to mount the adhesive mirror, but it takes so much effort to put the car mirror back into its housing that I pushed on that convex mirror and broke it.     Solidly made, there is no mirror distortion, there are large self-adhesive pads on the back.

    To be honest I bought this for feng shui purposes. I get really embarrassed when I don't see anyone entering my home office. (The door is on one side of the room, and there wasn't any other practical way to set up my desk.) My husband also has one of these mirrors at his work station so he can see anyone approaching from behind his chair. This helps him focus on his computer monitor while designing for his company.     If you hate having your back to the door or others, this is a win.

    I am very afraid. And lately I've had to move my table and chairs with their backs to the door. Damned. does not happen. I bought it not sure if I was just being paranoid but reading a lot of the reviews I'm not alone with this fear or anxiety trigger so I wanted to take a chance and see what happened. Nobody enters this room without noticing them. Problem solved. No more looking over your shoulder or waiting for threats or pranksters to enter. I see them go. And thanks to this mirror for that.
