Disappointing Workholding Clamps

Based on my experience, these Industrial and Scientific clamps were a let-down. The clamping force was weak, and the aluminum material felt cheap. The only pro was the easy snap-on design, but that was overshadowed by how quickly the clamps would slip and fail to hold workpieces in place. Save yourself the trouble and look for better options in the market.

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting aluminum construction ensures a reliable grip.
Cons
  • Requires a specific size and shape of tubing to work effectively.

Good clip for hand and power tools

Better than plastic as they won't damage in the sun but the edges are very sharp. The metal edges were not filed after trimming, so the buyer must do this to avoid cutting themselves or tearing the tarpaulin material.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

When I'm paying a dollar a piece for something like this, I expect someone to take a few seconds to file those very sharp edges. If you don't do anything around the edges you'll either cut your finger or the plastic or both. I used 3/4" on a 1" EMT tube and they fit snugly and I was able to bend them a bit to get more than a plastic wrap under some of them. Even with rounded edges, they tear plastic because we have a lot of wind here, and constant movement makes it almost uncontrollable. I have
