Cone seat surface is very small. I track my car and will not use them because I am concerned about their sideload performance. I've never seen a lug nut snap through a wheel, but these definitely look like they could! Otherwise they are very well made - just poorly designed!

A non-threaded nut came with the purchase of the first set. It was a "no-no" answer as it couldn't be bolted to the wheel. I returned this set and ordered another set hoping to get a better set. However, I was surprised to find that the second set is in even worse condition. Not only was one nut unthreaded, but some of the nuts had surface rust inside the nuts. The box it arrived in also looked like it had gone through a molt. Save time and money and avoid this product.

Put it on today and it ran pretty well. All nuts were packed in small bags. None of them have scratches. During installation they went pretty clean. The tool worked fine. I think some of the problems people have had with tools wearing out or nuts wearing out are due to over tightening. Be sure to tighten to the specified torque, which is approximately 70-80 ft.lbs for a 12 x 1.5 thread. This is very easy if you don't have a torque wrench. Invest in one.
