Checked with a spirit level and found the bubble is not quite centered. So I marked the spot where she was dead using some squares and planes. Once I did this they worked fine.

I have used these on the end of my cordless drills with durable double foam tape. I also used super glue gel to attach rare earth magnets to the back of one of these to check my fridge is level. They are easy to read and stick to many surfaces. These are high quality spirit levels!
