Ball too small in vehicle mounts

The ball doesn't fit my Garmin mount, when the Garmin holds the mount in place it obscures my 40-90 mph speedometer. A longer central bolt is not provided.

Pros
  • Fairing mount ideal for GPS units; mount over the fairing to keep an eye on the road
Cons
  • Gotchas

Great mounting option but vibration can affect performance

It was easy to install and I like how it keeps the unit centered in the fairing. But I encountered the problem that after a while the phone holder came loose due to strong vibration (I drive a 2009 FLHX). So I'll try perch instead. I can still try mounting the fairing with a cup holder and see what happens, but it might not look good.

Pros
  • Handlebar mounts eliminate the ugly pins and pivots used in traditional clamps
Cons
  • Neutral

Ball too small: GPS, viewfinder and accessories

The ball doesn't fit my Garmin mount, when the Garmin is held with the mount it covers my speedometer from 40 to 90 mph. A longer central screw is not provided.

Pros
  • Perch mounts can be used on the right or left; Fully adjustable mount system
Cons
  • Some bugs

Excellent mounting option, but vibration can affect performance

It was easy to install and I like the way it holds the device in the middle of the fairing. But I encountered the problem that after a while the phone holder came loose due to strong vibration (I drive a 2009 FLHX). So I'll try perch instead. I can still try mounting the fairing with a cup holder and see what happens, but it might not look good.

Pros
  • Fairing mount, ideal for GPS units; Mounts on top of fairing so you can keep an eye on the road
Cons
  • Has issues

Good complement for Trike

After installing it I found many ways to use this thing. I have a phone mount, an external GPS mount (the 14 Tri Glide has built in GPS but I use it to input directions on long trips) and a cup holder that attaches to the ball. I don't like having a lot of "things" attached to the hand controls, so this fits right in. I want Ciro 3d to create a version that fits the right and left windshield mounts, not just the middle one. I would have three of these if they did. One in the middle and one on…

Pros
  • fairing mount, ideal for GPS navigators; Mounts on top of fairing so you can keep an eye on the road
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
