Handy gadget. Best in Computers & Accessories Category

I have one of these in my computer bin (set of adaptors, connectors, gender changers, card readers and cables. a bit of a circus but never lets me down!) and have found it useful on a number of occasions. At this price it's worth having on hand. Essentially, you can connect an ethernet cable to the adapter and then plug the male end into any USB socket on your computer (e.g. laptop or TIVO etc.). Worst Design USB Network Adapter

This has got to be the worst designed device I've ever come across from the brand Linksys have seen. I don't understand why they can't use the proven RJ45 connector design. Instead, the little door swings open and the ethernet plug comes in at an angle, and the door has to hook onto the plug's hook to keep the cable in place. The door is held at the right height by tiny plastic sticks that fall out if you give them a weird look, and good luck finding them if they fall out. What you want. The…

Great product, USB 2.0 is coming soon!

When I worked in PC repair, freelance consulting and network administration, I found out that I had the opportunity to update the customer's antivirus software (usually if the virus program is faulty, it is in the process of installation or initial upgrade), it's nice to be able to connect to a high-speed connection even if a person's computer doesn't have a network card or even a modem.
