👟 CLARKS Urban Textile Sneakers for Men - Men's Shoes Review

I originally bought these shoes for the colorway, but they quickly became my go-to shoes! These shoes come with Clarks "cloudstepper" insoles, and the name is right! The soles are so comfortable that wearing them all day won't tire your feet, and the fabric around your feet is breathable, allowing you to essentially wear them like slip-ons when you're in a hurry. They looked cool but after wearing them for a few months I threw them away. The sole wore surprisingly quickly, and the upper was too stretchy and didn't fit well around the foot. My grip on the ground was shaky, and any lateral movement made me feel like I was about to sprain my ankle. In my opinion they were soft - more like slippers than urban walking shoes. Two stars because I liked the look and the long wearing time - one star for the functionality. I do not recommend.

However, this is a great shoe with a comfortable sole; They are very big. I usually wear a 10-11 and had to buy an 8.5 in these. The only other reason I give them three stars is that the toe box is pretty narrow, but it brings the toes together; the length is ok (if you order one and a half to two sizes smaller than usual). I tried them on in store before buying from Revain. For reference, I wear a 10 on New Balance and a 10 or 10.5 on Merrells depending on the style.

GREAT SHOES - Comfortable and keeps feet cool! My feet get hot in the summer months so I don't wear socks unless I get away in hiking sandals, somewhere I use them all the time. I bought these shoes looking for a breathable comfortable summer shoe. While they are comfortable and supportive, the heel keeps coming off. When I first tried to put them on with socks for a walk, I constantly had flat tires, the heel came off and then collapsed. It got a little better after going barefoot, but I still have to tie them tight enough to leave a mark. Sizing wise they have enough room for my toes so I couldn't/wouldn't go up or down. Not what I was hoping for but they are good.
