I'm having a really hard time finding this type of comb that lasts, especially with soft tipped teeth. This brand has come the closest to my goal in the past, other than breaking teeth after a year or so. I've reordered a few years later and they are now lighter, feel cheaper (and feel more like hard plastic than hard rubber), and the teeth are now very sharp and scratchy on the skin. I already kicked them both out.

I have very long hair. I use this type of comb to pull out unruly hair and detangle it with a flat iron. I find the ACE combs to be the best, straight teeth and durable. I never had a single break. I like to keep them in different places: gym bag, bathroom and night bag. I have several of these combs. This is your standard black comb. About the same quality as Walgreens at 59 cents or 2 for $1. After ordering (because I couldn't find a hairbrush in stock) I realized that's probably what I really don't need. It's just a regular comb for combing your hair. Nothing special. As previously mentioned this comb is of poor quality and does not compare to previous Ace combs. I bought this to replace an old classic Ace comb and the difference couldn't be bigger. Coincidentally, I also bought a pack of 10 random combs from the dollar store. This Ace comb is comparable to these. Not sure what everyone's complaining about. The only reason I'm buying this one is because I lost the last one I bought. I have no issues with quality or durability. The first lasted over a year before I lost it. I'm sure it would have taken much longer. The teeth are not too sharp, the comb works as it should and combs the hair. No, it's not an ace, but it doesn't say ace either. I'm very happy with the comb and will order a replacement if I lose it again.

These Ace brushes aren't what they used to be. I have an old school Ace comb, proudly made of hard rubber - strong, well made - good comb. THIS comb has nothing to do with it. This comb is made of cheap, lightweight plastic. The edge of the comb is super sharp. It is made in China. It is not very comfortable to comb your beard with this comb. It's clear that Ace has gone to great lengths to downgrade the quality of what was once a fine comb. Sad.
