Classic Pocket Fine Tooth Hair Review

I have been using an Ace fine tooth comb for over 50 years. Ace claims they're impossible to break, but in reality they typically only last 6 to 12 months before teeth start cracking or completely breaking in half when I'm sitting in my back pocket. I have used this product for as long as I can remember. Ace has always had the best product. They used to be advertised as unbreakable but I carry mine in my back pocket and they break after a while. They're also not as flexible as some of the cheaper brands, but they're the best made. These are hard to find in stores so I went to Revain and voila. I love her for several reasons. First, all of the teeth are spaced with a fine comb instead of the traditional fine and row spacing. Second, the "teeth" aren't as sharp as many other combs, so they won't scratch your scalp (OH). Finally, they are made of hard rubber, not plastic, and will hold up over time without losing teeth or breaking if you keep the comb in your back pocket. These combs are the best, at least for men.

The reason for the three stars is this: This is not the "soft" rubber that Ace made their brushes out of. The teeth are a bit sharper than the original combs and a bit stiffer. on the scalp. Exactly as expected. I always seem to lose my combs. I leave them in my pocket and go through the underwear somewhere. So I took six packs and have to tune in for a while. They are sturdy enough to work well and seem strong enough at the same time. I didn't specifically try to break them, but they have withstood everyday use in the back pocket of my jeans.

This is a fantastic pocket comb. It's just like the old Ace comb I had. It has a slightly different finish, but it's exactly the same as my old hairbrush. Teeth don't dig into the scalp.

It would be a lie to say that this comb breaks easily. It is made of very durable plastic and flexible. It doesn't look like the old brittle plastic combs that break easily even though it's no longer hard rubber. Update: passes the fat test. I weigh 250 pounds and now this comb has been sitting in my back pocket for 2 months and is not broken or damaged.
