My 5 year old only wears elastic waist and I had to find a short uniform for him. They fit him well but fall just above the knee which I think is generally a 'regular' fit but we like his shorts which at least touch his knees to help with knee scrapes. Although they will work. I'm a size 6 and my friends are tall and skinny.

These shorts are perfect for my son who is taller than most kids his size, they appear darker than the picture but he is comfortable and loves the fit.

Great for a husky boy who isn't quite "husky" but also not quite a normal size 8. Fits pretty snugly with little slack if that makes sense. Ultra-lightweight pull-up for easy bathroom access. Very important

I always buy this brand from ebay, it's the best durable uniform brand. I just want them to go to men's sizes, my baby has grown a lot.

Good quality and nice, simple shorts. Only for the hot late summer days in class could there be more cotton. The color fades easily after multiple washes.

These are the perfect school shorts! NOT cheaply made. The material is THICK. So if you have a rough and tough little boy, don't worry! And excess elastics are NOT flimsy. There is very good gold. Very very impressed!

My slim boy always had problems with normal uniform trousers. It's either too big or difficult to put down. These sweaters are very comfortable and my son loves them very much.

Would be perfect but definitely too short for my average height of 4 years. Otherwise these are great shorts. Good material and quality. I just wish they were a little longer.

This item says "Stretch" but it doesn't stretch like you would expect. I was very disappointed that it doesn't stretch as I expected for a husky.

I suggest these if your kid doesn't know how to make buttons yet. My son has a problem with buttons and that is why he uses them himself when trying to unbutton them so these shorts which are easy to put on are great for him. I have ordered several pairs and several sizes and colors.

My son is taller than other 6 year olds for his age but I don't think he will be tall enough that those shorts that look below the knee in the photo will turn out to be short shorts on him when he wears them tried on. Disappointed as I thought I finally found black uniform shorts that were long enough but needed to be returned.

I bought these shorts for my 7 year old autistic son. The stretchy shorts are easy to put on and take off, making it easy for him to go to the bathroom. He is a very strong boy with thick thighs and they have enough space in the buttocks and thighs. I will definitely buy this product again in the future.

The quality, comfort and fit of these shorts are perfect for school uniform shorts. Thanks to the elastic waistband, I originally bought these durable shorts for my young son who has trouble buttoning his trousers/shorts. I will be buying more of these shorts that fit him! My 6th grader boy loves the fit and the length is just right for being stylish without the shock of 'puffy' eyes. He doesn't have to tuck his shirt in and is fuller in the middle so elasticity will be his best secret as his shape fluctuates with puberty and exercise!

These were and are the best uniform shorts/trousers we have ever purchased. I was absolutely amazed at how well they have held up year after year. My son wore them for 2 school years, they have been washed 2-3 times a week every week and they are still in excellent condition and expect to be passed on and worn by other family members in a year or two.

These shorts fit snug and beautiful. What I like best is that they don't have all the cargo pockets that you see in most elastic waist shorts. They don't create a Harbaugh wrinkle vibe. They are very dark blue, almost black, but surprisingly have not lost color with washing.

These shorts are very well made. The fabric is thicker and heavier than other uniform shorts I've bought for my son. I don't mind paying a little more for much better quality.

These are my son's favorite school shorts. I just buy a size bigger every year. He loves the elastic waistband and the fact that they're a husky sizing helps too as it's thicker.
