Easy to install and has removed the chlorine smell

Ordered this unit and it arrived in good shape. I read some reviews that people payed up to $500 to have this installed by a professional. If you have any handyman skills whatsoever, you can do this yourself. I am not a plumber and it took my a little over an hour using Sharkbite plumbing fixtures and Pex tubing, total cost was $49. If you look at the photo I added it shows the parts I used and how I added the filter into my existing plumbing. Also, remember to move your ground wire to the…

Pros
  • Worked good
Cons
  • The system may not effectively remove all contaminants present in the water, leaving the user with an incomplete filtration process

Leaks at seal rings

The item has leaked at the seal rings since day 1. We tried applying silicon grease several times as well. Still Leaks. Return window just passed, stuck with a defective product. Won't use this manufacturer again.

Pros
  • Containers were leaking, but company sent me two new gaskets, fixed the problem
Cons
  • The dual stage filter system may require more maintenance and upkeep than single stage systems, resulting in additional time and expenses

Fantastic Filter System

I am shocked at how well it works! We've had no problems with it, and we no longer have any rust pieces in our water lines from our well. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • I have well water and had a horrible smell these filters fixed the issue.Great filters .
Cons
  • The size of the system may be too large for smaller homes, creating a space and storage issue

*UPDATE* Leaks at the factory made connection

We purchased this a few months ago and now with "stay at home" order for NJ we finally had the chance to install the unit and plumb it up. Installation was a breeze and within a few hours my son and I completed the plumbing and were ready to go. We turned on the water and celebrated the fact that we didn't have any leaks anywhere. After purging the rest of our homes plumbing of air I returned to the basement and heard the disheartening sound of a drip hitting the ground. After inspecting…

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • The system may restrict water flow and pressure, resulting in slower and unsatisfactory water usage

DIY RV Water Filtration System

Easy to install and change the filters. I use these in an RV water system and they work great at a much more competitive price than RV specific sets of filters.

Pros
  • We no longer have any chlorine taste in out water.
Cons
  • The filters may need to be changed frequently, contributing to a higher cost of ownership in the long run
