I use an electric popcorn maker at home and it adds a bit of a buttery salty flavor. This shaker is perfect for popcorn salt, it doesn't skip too much at once giving you more control over how much goes out at once.

I was hoping to store coarse salt and easily open the lid with my thumb. It is not suitable for this purpose as the lid is tightened very tightly. I will keep it and use it for something else. I give it 5* because it's solid and a good item just not for my purpose.
