The washers fitted to the shower door handle by the contractor must have been overtightened as they snapped after a year. They have been working for almost a year and show no signs of wear.

Suitable for shower handle. There were no problems. It replaced the existing plastic/rubber disc. He only lasted about 18 months. I have extras in case a replaced washer starts to crack. Description and dimensions are correct.

Simply put, $8.95 on this product isn't worth trying, 10 replacement vinyl washers that size! And you will be very disappointed if you have to buy a plastic disc instead of what you need. Most likely, with such use, they will crack vinyl.

As other reviewers note, you won't find these in big stores. I went back to my glass company and they didn't have them either. They feel softer than the original hardware, which will likely prove to be an advantage. The OEM washers were stiff and broke in less than a year of use. Tag and bag the remaining washers in case I need them again!

Went to both Lowe's and Home Depot and neither had plastic (vinyl) washers. Read reviews from many of them and this one seemed to work for everyone. Of course those washers did a great job fixing our shower handle (which was only slightly broken but shook every time you opened or closed the door) and we have what I would call a standard shower. They're expensive, but well worth it, especially when it saves you a trip to the hardware store!

This is the standard size for most glass door shower handles. The hole is about 1/4 inch. Don't even think about looking for them at Home Depot or Lowes. As mentioned in another review they are the correct diameter but thinner than a standard washer. Not much, but enough. I replaced my cracked washers with a thin washer and everything works fine.
