Excellent Performance for Couplings

Using this collar plating in our industrial and scientific applications proved to be a game-changer for our team. It provided a secure and durable connection between shafts and increased the lifespan of the coupling. The installation process was straightforward and hassle-free. However, we noticed that the plating was prone to chipping and scratching, which required us to be cautious. Overall, the Climax Metal C 031 BO Collar Plating is a reliable and high-quality product that we highly…

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting with plating to resist corrosion.
Cons
  • Potential for compatibility issues with certain shaft materials.

Corresponds to its purpose

There is nothing special to say about the shaft collar. Suitable for shaft. Seems to be strong. The set screw can be tightened. It does its intended job by limiting movement on the shaft.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • I don't remember

Sturdy and holds up well

I use these on the axle of a heavy duty electric cart (think low speed heavy duty truck) to hold sprockets and wheels in place. This car has a lot of weight and torque and I have broken an axle more than once. But the collars never slip or move.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • So far so good
