I ordered women's size 10 which is one size larger than my normal climbing shoe size because I had read that they run small and figured going up a size should make the difference. I received them and the heel of the boot came 3/4 to the back of my heel, it didn't even come close. The women's 10 looked like 7 1/2 or 8.

I did not buy them but wanted to reply to the previous review that they are too small. Not a very good reason to give only one star. Of course, climbing shoes run small because they have to fit differently and have built-in pointe shoes (like ballet shoes). The buyer claims they looked more like a 7 than a women's 9, which is a standard climbing shoe fit in Dallas. I can understand having to return them for a larger size, but that's still not a good reason to give only one star.

I was tired of ruining my pretty shoes at the gym so I decided to give it a try. They are not as soft as other aggressive shoes. And the latter, and the rubber is tougher. But when I climb more than 2 hours in the gym it helps. Yes, the sizes do not match, although each manufacturer has different sizes. These are just great shoes for the price. I would happily pay twice as much, but I'm glad I didn't. For reference, I have these 12 women/11 men and they fit perfectly. I wear 42.5 La Sportiva…
