excellent protection against knucklebones and large tears

Faster and cleaner than tape, excellent protection against knucklebones and large tears. They sweat easily and are too voluminous for thin finger cracks. You lose a bit of stone feel, but I could hold onto a fist jam without legs without feeling uncomfortable.

Saved my life for outdoor recreation

First time wearing these gloves while climbing the Yosemite route last weekend. I was pretty high over my last piece (which was a bit iffy) and then dropped the jam which allowed me to switch my foot and complete the route. I don't think I could have done it without them and I am convinced that these gloves saved my life.

Climb X clearly has no climbers

I was willing to give Climb X a shot despite their terrible reputation, but they really are useless for climbing crevasses. Not only are they useless, they make it difficult to hold even the simplest hand jam because as soon as moisture builds up between your hand and the rubber, you'll slip off. Also, the rubber is so thick that there is very strong resistance when trying to clamp. Also, due to the thickness, you lose the feel of the wall, making it even harder to hold the jam. Better use…
