Excellent product for sewing

It's easy to use and creates absolutely no waste, just like you would make geese the traditional way. I love mine so I bought it for a friend for Christmas.

Happy quilting newbie has it

I love that it fits a variety of flying geese and I think you can use this tool to trim half square triangles with good results.

One of the few times I give a product 5 stars!

This is one of the best tools I have ever bought in my twenty years of quilting. While I still consider myself a shade tree quilter, I have to say that this tool definitely makes my Flying Geese almost perfect. I didn't use this tool for several months after purchasing it because I was put off by its 13 step process, but when I finally used it in a test block I found the block to be quick and easy to assemble. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank

After making some geese I realized that I needed to scale up the size a bit to ensure I get the exact geese as well as the exact size I chose. I enlarged the smaller squares by adding 1/4" to 1/2" (also by aligning them exactly with the edge of the larger square instead of shifting them 1/16th as instructed in the instructions) to make sure I'm not just the right size. but…

The most efficient way to make flying geese!

The tool worked like a dream. I considered buying a Bloc-Loc to trim my flying geese but the price was very high and required a ruler for each size of flying geese. I went with this one instead and it works amazingly well! I used to avoid making flying geese when possible because I hate cutting them off - I never get 1/4" at the right point and end up with blunt tips or "dead space" between units. With my units came out perfect with this tool. The instructions are clear, the charts are very…
