Very poor fit on my clipper of choice. I couldn't attach the scissors. A flexible mounting base would make them fi. They looked like the right size, but the hard plastic tab wouldn't budge. I was afraid they would break if I force them. Sent back.☹️

I bought a Wahl clipper that didn't have long attachments. These guards feel thick and strong and they are HUGE as you would imagine 2 inch and over inch guards. I only use these extensions on the top of my head and then do the usual shorter cuts on the sides and back. These guards are very strong. As with Clipquik's previous design, they still need to be modified slightly to prevent the retaining tabs from breaking. Using a razor blade or pocket knife, remove excess plastic from the two inside corners that rest on the cutting end of the clipper blade. This extra plastic is easy to spot as it is only on the first and last ribs and the center ribs of the guard can serve as a guide. They work great and fit my regular clippers of choice. I have used it twice on my own hair and my son's. You must hold the hair to be trimmed when using combs of this length and then pull them taut, or they may fall off and be longer than the length of the comb. But better than scissors and ruler.

Love the fact that these clips have the same number of teeth as regular Wahl clips. They are STRONG, not skinny at all! I used them over the weekend and they do a fantastic job. After using it I found it to be very durable and sticks to the trimmer very well. First of all, I can now have a 1.75 hair length that I like. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any size. So far I have used the #12 comb to trim my hair and it has left a nice length that looks like I got a decent trim from a good barber. I look forward to not getting my hair cut for a long time, if ever. Because it cuts your hair to a good length quite reliably without looking like a buzz cut. That's exactly what I was hoping for.
