    Best price and easy to use

    I tested all Cloner Alliance products. This is the best. Like: offline mode, no disk limit, can connect a 12TB drive, I'm using 4TB WD Black. Suitable for 4K HEVC, H265 and H.264 recording. Playback your recording with CEC support, device turns off recording when no signal is present. Shows REC option on screen, no REC recording, good to know if you are recording. Dislikes: Cloner Alliance software, don't use, not compatible with PLEX. Good concept, bad result. Use Joyoshare Video Converter for

    Mono audio for Windows 10 only

    WINDOWS 10 - Windows Settings: Privacy Settings: Camera; Includes apps and microphone; Including apps! Only supports mono recording on Windows 10; record in stereo; must be used separately. The 4K Pro and 2K Pro remotes share some IR codes; what makes the job interesting. USB/HDMI ports switched between 4K Pro and 2K Pro; what is confusing; when changing cables. The rear connections are also reflected. 4K Pro crops 24 and 60I fps but not 30 and 60P fps.

    Works on Linux but with some limitations

    Many capture cards claim to support UVC drivers but don't, so I bought this one to test and it does it really. It works fine on Ubuntu 21 with 5.8 kernel. (via dmesg)>> uvcvideo: UVC 1.00 device <no name> found (534d:2109). Please note that this is somewhat misleading as you can record 4K to media but not in 4K via USB. The maximum resolution supported via USB is 1920 x 1080 and only 30 fps.

    Excellent device for recording in 4k hevc/h.265 codec

    I buy to record PS4 gameplay and the quality is pretty good, looks the same as during the game, not 60 fps, but records smoothly, hevc/ h.265 is an excellent codec with a compact file size. This device has line-in, line-out and microphone-in, you can record your own and other people's voice in a chat if you buy multiple cables. If you want to record something copy-protected, you need to buy a cheap HDMI splitter. Check the picture for size reference.
