Great for hiking! good for outdoor activities

I bought these socks for a 10 day hike in Utah. In fact, I wore them almost every day and tormented them every day. I just rinsed them out, hung them out to dry and put them back on almost every day. They performed well and persevered with no problems. I have traveled for several days and crossed many different rivers and these socks helped me avoid blisters on my feet. would i buy again, would buy it.

Too loose fit in outerwear

Although I ordered the right size these socks were too loose. I prefer my sock cuffs which are a bit more elastic and this particular sock is not enough to keep the sock taut. I was very disappointed as I had to wear them (and therefore keep this pair) to find out. I returned all the unworn ones for a refund. Darn Tough socks are way better for staying awake and getting in the way of your shoes. Pros: Blue is beautiful.

Great socks. They are my favourites.

Wonderful socks! We're doing a week-long hike and it's going to hike, so I bought a couple of socks from different brands. I bought some cheap ones that fit really well but aren't wool. And then I bought a pair of wool socks, but they were bulky and slipped into the boots. These cloud socks are definitely my favorite. I will buy more. They are soft, not prickly, fit well, not too tight and not too loose. I've worn them around the house for several days in a row because I love them so much…

Is it REALLY merino wool?

I have had other brands of merino wool socks in this price range and after reading other customer reviews I settled on these. When I opened the packaging, I wasn't impressed with its softness. And after wearing them for a few days, I find them to be like a pair of regular cheap cotton socks, which they very well could be - who knows, they might even be fake! I was expecting soft comfort with moisture-wicking properties, but I didn't find that here. Will try other brands next time as I feel like

Cloudline outperforms all other running socks

I was late in switching to wool running socks. For decades I have been running in poly socks from Thorlo, Adidas, Feetures, Nike and all others. All of them are mediocre for training but good for racing. Then I got a pair of Smartwool socks which were durable, comfortable and didn't itch at all. game changer! Since then I have tried many brands of Merino wool running socks, mainly Balega but also SmartWool. Cloudline beats them all! My feet stay dry, the cushioning is spot on and doesn't break,

Sturdy and Comfortable

I used to buy low grip Balega socks but they changed them so that the top part of the socks are snug on my foot and not as comfortable anymore. I tried these socks and I really liked them in everyday life and when hiking. You sit more comfortably. They were a bit big but I tumble dried them a few times and now they fit perfectly. They seem to be very durable even though I've only had them for a month, but I wear them a lot. They also don't stink too much if you have to wear them for a few days…

So comfortable and not too tight on my ankle

It's very hard to find a sock that doesn't dig into the lower calf/upper ankle. These are simply "matching". My ankles are not huge. I think the fact that they offer an XL size is a kind of solution. I have a size 11 foot with a high instep or a foot with more volume. These are the best socks I've ever tried. They are a bit thick for work shoes, but casual or loose shoes are fine for me. I think these are trail runner style socks, they are designed to work with athletic shoes. You have a good…

I love these socks.

I rarely write reviews. Especially all that Revain crap. However, these are the most durable socks I have ever owned. I'm strict about socks - they don't usually last long but these have held up to maybe 4 months of everyday use. You see I'm quite capable and used to destroying socks in days. But I trained in it daily (running and cycling). I wear them to work many days a week. I wear them barefoot to go to the garage or to the car to get something. For me they are just the perfect thickness…

Who pays that much for socks? From now on this guy!

I'm a tall guy (225 lbs) and run several times a week. Until now I never thought about buying expensive socks, I thought that blisters are just part of the lifestyle that comes with running. Boy was I wrong I bought them and I haven't had a bladder since. The cushioning also keeps me running. I bought two pairs of these socks in early December and decided to test their durability (and warranty). Since then I've been wearing these two pairs of socks and only these socks non-stop (work, workout…
