Ideal for reducing or enlarging patterns

I've lost some weight and many of my patterns are smaller than the smallest size. I have this because I can resize my templates. Also good for adjusting models like waist or full chest. You can put needles in multiple slots and this works well with delicate fabrics as there are no needle points, they are curved to make a dotted line with tracing paper.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

Ideal for creating your own RTW clothing patterns

This is metric, not imperial, so my 5/8" seam allowance is slightly wider than 5/8". However, this is the only duplicate copy wheel I could find. Kenneth King uses it in his "Jean-Ius" craft class, where he teaches you how to make a pattern from your favorite pair. Making jeans and muslin, correcting fit issues and creating the final new "clone" of the jeans. And all without having to disassemble the original pair of jeans (in other words, you don't sacrifice your favorite pair). I love this…

At least I couldn't figure out how to do that. different slots and couldn't get a 5/8 no matter where I put it. Update: This is useless when using American/European standard patterns. You can't get 1/2", 3/4", 5/8" spacing with this tool. I found that it says "Clover Japan" on mine. I wanted to use this for seam allowances, and it is useless for this purpose I'm really upset and…

Great concept, terrible quality

The concept of a dual track wheel with adjustable width and direction is great. However, the execution of this design is terrible. The gauge wheels themselves have a more jagged edge and didn't tear up my pattern like sharper wheels, so that was a nice bonus. The white part of the handle you hold was good, durable and comfortable. However, the "legs" or rods that run from the measuring wheels to the handle are very fragile and will bend under the pressure required to actually USE the measuring…
