I only used it once. I could barely get the needle threader to thread. I was afraid I would break before it even got through a needle. It ended up being badly bent and I see others saying the metal on them broke. I want to buy old-fashioned models that look fragile but last forever.

Excellent needle threader. Works every time. Clover makes quality products and as a quilter I appreciate that. I know this needle threader will last a long time. I bought one, mistakenly thinking it was a Clover product, and when it broke after a few uses I was frustrated. When I checked I found it was a different brand. Moral of the story: hold on to Clover!

This is a great needle threader. I use it to thread thick thread and it holds up well, way better than any other tool I've found. I am a regular customer and will continue to do so if the need arises. Other needle threaders have snapped or broken the thread I used. After a long time, they just pulled out, but the wires never broke. It's not that people are crazy about needle threaders, but if you work with thick thread and thin needles, you should try this needle threader.
