Clover Desk Needle Threader: A Convenient Green Solution for Needlecraft Enthusiasts Review

Nothing in the product details I've read suggests THIS ONLY WORKS FOR OVAL NEEDLE EYES! Therefore it is not very functional for "everyday use" if round eye needles can be used. It is placed in the "rarely (if ever) used" pile. After reading other reviews on this and other products, I am in the process of getting another one that starts with a "B".

Too bad the seller and/or Amazon can't go the extra mile to provide an HONEST description. This gadget only works with a certain type and brand of needles, which, by the way, aren't even sold at Revain. Another lender went berserk without Revain's supervision by providing an inaccurate and intentionally misleading description. How difficult would it be for you to simply state in the description that it only works for a specific needle from a specific brand? Rip off.

It worked sometimes initially (press the lever to thread the needle) Seemed to need a larger needle to work. Then he will thread the needle once every 10 clicks or tries. On the third day, I started cutting the thread every time I tried to press the needle threading lever. All in all, don't waste your money on this product. I wish it would work but now it's useless to me. I don't want to bother with the return process. It goes in the trash. Lesson learned.

A piece of junk. Too late to turn back, otherwise I would have done it immediately. The more used, the worse the performance; regardless of needle size. It doesn't seem designed to work with very small needles (read that info somewhere), but even with the needle types/sizes used before, the thread doesn't push through the needle and stays in place. **Another note: If the needle eye is not in the direction of the thread, the thread will not be threaded through the needle and needles with a large eye will not go into the stitch hole.
