I'll buy this from now on.

Excellent pencil! I used red in another brand. With this you had to press hard on the pencil when tracing and press very hard on the iron over high heat to get some pretty faint lines - and it was red on yellow fabric! With Klee I was able to trace with normal pressure and only ironed for a few seconds with medium pressure so that the lines were clearly visible - blue pencil on red fabric.

Transfer pencil

I love it! I was skeptical at first because of some of the comments in the reviews. I used this in combination with Aunt Martha's tracing paper. Worked like clockwork on my first try. Clear sharp picture. You may need to use it with tracing paper to really make the image stand out. I don't know but it worked for me. smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000YQIWAA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

A pencil would work better.

I am making a warp quilt (also called paper stitching but I like to use fine cotton warp) from VERY small pieces and I need an easier way to trace the design on the warp fabric. This is not a solution. I've used it on tracing paper and then tried ironing it on fabric but with no much success. The only advantage over a pencil is that it requires a finer point. But you still have to draw a pretty bold line to ensure translation, which doesn't bode well for accuracy, so. I reverted to manually…
