This yarn is very soft and amazing. but I prefer coarser wool, which is easier to embroider with needles. The fibers of the larger felt go in different directions (which is part of the needle felting process, so in a sense some of the work is already done). This can be preferred, so if you enjoy felting with soft wool, this is a great product for you!

This is a slightly off-white wool roving only. It's clean and there's almost no trash in it. The packaging is small too, but anyone familiar with this type of product would have to agree that the quality and quantity makes for a good buy, if not outstanding value. Enough here to make a few small projects or use extensively as an accent piece in a different color.

I am really surprised by this yarn! It's so cheap but amazing quality. To be honest there is a lot of wool in this bag! Based on other reviews I was worried there wouldn't be enough yarn, but I was really surprised to find this huge tuft! When the wool is untangled it is 12 feet long and thick! One more good note: The wool is clean >.< I didn't find any dirt or debris, I am very happy with this wool and can't wait to buy more
