This is a nice, small and handy seam ripper. It's sharp and works well. Really pretty and easy to hold because it's so small. I like that the blade is retractable.

I like the sharpness. But when you click to cut the thread, it doesn't stay open. I like that it closes when not needed. But it needs a better latch to stay open. piss off!

Everything about it is perfect except that the working part of the seam ripper can't stay outside the body without squeezing the lever with your thumb while using it as a seam opener.

Beautiful color and great design idea. The retractable feature is good for protecting sharp points when not in use. Truly a two-in-one tool: seam ripper and thread trimmer. The only thing is that the retract and extend button can be improved a bit, I would like it to be fixed more tightly.

Great seam ripper that replaces the crude seam ripper that came in my 'starter kit'. I like that it retracts so I don't have to worry about losing the lid (or breaking the lid. Anyone else notice that clear plastic lids are prone to tearing?). And when it's outside, as mentioned, it works like a thread cutter, which is pretty cool. Overall I would buy it again!

I bought this ripper after a capless round ripper (first thing I lose) rolled off the table between my legs. I bent my legs together and thrust the tip into my inner thigh. I felt a small prick, but continued stitching until I realized I was bleeding profusely. It's small and I lost the first one in my cluttered sewing room. For the second one, I made a holder that can be worn around the wrist, around the neck, or hung from a hook.
