Clover DPKN Always the Best

I love every Clover knit I've ever bought! These are the best. Size 0 is very thin. But exactly what I need for my project.

Pros
  • Durable Finishes
Cons
  • Small Parts

Fantastic quality

Small strong knitting needles, indispensable helpers when knitting with small gauge knitting needles. I really like these small 5 inch stockings compared to the larger ones when working with socks as the longer DPNs tend to catch your hands or get stuck in the knit when twisting. The wood is smooth, polished and does not stick to the yarn. This material is great for slippery yarns and helps stitches hold better without slowing down knitting speed.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Excellent needles

I bought these needles because I don't like working with metal dps. I used birch needles, which are nice to the touch but bend when knitting socks with #1 needles. Bamboo Clover is surprisingly strong for its weight and has long, tapered tips. A very tight knitter might have trouble cutting, but I'm a laid back knitter and love them. The bamboo is snug and warm in my hands and holds the yarn well enough that I don't have to increase the tension.

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Very expensive

great for socks

I've reviewed Klee bamboo pins before and they turned out to be the best. These are 5 inch needles that are good for socks. They're long enough to fit the loops of a medium-sized sock, yet short enough that the ends don't get in the way. Probably best suited for thin sock yarns. When knitting socks, it is better to use 6 or 7 inch needles. I've even knitted the ends of hats with 5 inch needles and it works. In 40 years of knitting I have collected products of different lengths, so I choose the…
