difficult to draw

This pencil is difficult to draw on the material. I had to press pretty hard and then the lines would smear and disappear when you ran your hands over them while embroidering, so I had to keep stopping and redrawing my drawing.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Legacy model

Easy to remove Ideal for painting, coloring and art supplies

Writes well on most fabrics, but not all. Fragments of the "lead" or pencil rod often fall out after sharpening. However, it washes off very well with a little water, which is the most important thing for me, so overall I would buy it again.

Pros
  • Wipe clean with water
Cons
  • Matte packaging

Bought for nails

I'm not a seamstress. I bought this pen to clean under my nails but it is too soft and breaks. I have another pencil about 20 years ago (I still have a very small piece) and it was hard and came off really well under my nails, but this one broke.

Pros
  • Wipe clean with water
Cons
  • Available in white only

Best I've found for drawing

These are the best markers I've found. Others seem too "tough" to draw the right lines without pinching or stretching the fabric. They are "softer”, easily leave marks and are washed off in the same way. The only downside is that they wear out quickly and it takes a lot to mark the entire duvet if you use darker fabrics.

Pros
  • Quality sewing clover
Cons
  • Not as thick as other sets
