The Clover Yarn Darners are a must-have for any crocheter or knitter. Based on our own experience, the needles are sturdier than others we've used in the past, which is a huge pro when it comes to durability. I don't like these yarn needles. The tip is too sharp. it's more like a regular needle with a big hole. I prefer the tip of a yarn needle to be less sharp and more rounded. Also, I use worsted yarn and can only use one of the needles. The rest is too small for the yarn.

I can't tell you how frustrated I was trying to find the right size needle for knitting quilts. I finally got lucky when I searched Revain and found Clover Yarn Darners No 14-18. They have a large eyelet for threading and a pointed tip for easy threading through layers of fabric and batting! I got exactly what I was hoping for when I carefully ordered them! I can quilt easily and they are strong/durable so don't break as easily as other brands I've tried. A MUST for every quilt!
