Description of πŸš— Club Car DS Electric Golf Cart 36 Volt Solenoid (1976-1998) - Set of 5 by Automotive Authority LLC

These factory replacement solenoids are used on 1976-1998 36 Volt electric Club Car DS Golf Carts. Replacing your broken or outdated solenoids will help your cart run as intended, ensuring you make your tee time!!!. Be careful not to overtighten the nuts on the terminals or they will break and are not covered under warranty. Do not use a socket set! Make the nuts "hand tight with a 1/4 turn" after that. You will need to check the nuts often as they can become loose over time. 5 Pack of Solenoids.

Wonderful work.

Exactly what I ordered works great no problems and I think these 36 volt solenoids will last a long time as long as everything is ok.

Pros
  • Be careful not to overtighten the nuts on the clamps or they will break and not be covered under warranty.
Cons
  • Clarity

Great price great product

Great price a lot cheaper than anywhere else and they ran smooth and work great. It has been a long time since we had to replace our solenoids and we are very pleased with the smoothness of our golf cart under acceleration and while driving.

Pros
  • 5 sets of solenoids
Cons
  • updates available

Pack of 5 came as pictured and described. I have noticed that .

5 Package arrived as pictured and described. I noticed the Revain warning about over tightening the union nuts. I just installed 5 of these solenoids and found that the nuts that come with each unit are not threaded properly. The reason people break terminal blocks due to excessive torque has to do with Thread Mismatch (TPI). Prepare to bring your own nuts and washers.

Pros
  • These factory replacement Solenoids were used on 1976-1998 DS Golf Cars 36V Electric Club Cars.
Cons
  • So far so good

buy built-in In 5 women's carts drives like a 2021 model - even better mileage! :) YOU will need help to move the 2 batteries to make this much easier to install. NOTE - Each of my batteries weighs 65-70lbs EACH. So I suggest YOU use the battery carry cable and have someone who can easily remove it and put it back in the car.

Pros
  • Do not use socket wrench set! Then hand tighten the nuts 1/4 turn. You will need to check the nuts frequently as they can become loose over time.
Cons
  • protection

SECURITY RISK! best in sport

Should have listened to Hunter's review. We went ahead and replaced all the old solenoids with these and kept the old ones as a backup, they were fine in the car. 6 weeks and two new solenoids were stuck in the closed contact position and the girl behind the wheel was circling the parking lot because it wouldn't stop even with the key removed! I jumped her in, got her into neutral and was able to stop her; After testing to find out what the problem was (I unplugged the motor cable) all of a…

Pros
  • Replacing defective or obsolete solenoids will keep your car running as it should and ensure you get to your destination on time!!!
Cons
  • No Machine Gun
