🦄 Colorful CMK Unicorn Backpack: The Perfect School Kids' Furniture, Decor & Storage Item Review

LOVE this backpack! The glitter doesn't flake off, it keeps its shape (soft backing) so the backpack isn't bulky and very cute. When school started I bought a backpack for my second grader. But he had no support, leaving papers and folders in a crumpled mess. We don't have that problem with this bag and our daughter is very happy. It's well made and the keychain is a plus!

We kept this backpack because my daughter likes it for kindergarten. However, I award three stars for three reasons: 1. The surface is very rough - as if you could scratch it with your knuckles. 2. The strip of material that forms the "flap" that closes the zipper makes it difficult to access the zipper to open the backpack. 3. This backpack is closer to $25 than the $40 we paid for it.

I figured as a kids backpack it would look like faux glitter covered in clear plastic. It's a grainy, glossy texture and completely ridiculous. I'm also sensitive to grainy and uneven textures so I don't feel comfortable touching them haha that's it. Due to the thickness of the material my 5 year old has a hard time unzipping it. She wanted it so badly and I love the way it looks but I wouldn't buy it again because it's not a realistic everyday school backpack.

First of all, this backpack is so cute! The shine is bright but made so it doesn't rub off on anything. The horn and ears are of excellent quality. This backpack is really cute and very well made, but definitely smaller. If you are looking for a backpack for preschoolers this is great but it is too small for elementary school. Bought for a 5 year old who thought it was the best thing in the world. The bag itself is made of a rigid, inelastic plastic material that will not stretch. The seams are stitched well enough to withstand their very light strain without tearing them up in a kindergarten classroom. I wish I could say the same about the zipper.
