Excellent tailor. fits straight, helical and router bits

Excellent cutter. very sharp. Remember to wear gloves when installing/removing these attachments. I cut myself a few times and will probably do it again ;).

Pros
  • 1-1/2" length of cut, 2 flutes, right hand rotation.
Cons
  • Don't remember

Looks as good as most

I have used this piece quite a bit and it has served me well. I have other CMT bits and they have good lifespans as well. I don't know what else to say to that.

Pros
  • High quality solid carbide, excellent underside finish. chip ejection upwards.
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

Excellent bit for very precise clean cuts.

This cutter is very sharp. I use it to cut a 1/2" x 1/2" dado out of maple to make Japanese lampshades. The cuts are very clean with no chips and the tabs are very smooth in the grooves. Great care must be taken not to drop the drill bit on the concrete as the tip is brittle and can break off if struck against hard surfaces.

Pros
  • For cutting, copying, calibrating and routing wood, plastic and laminate products.
Cons
  • Obsolete
