These brake pads have damaged my discs - the pad material is very hard and they cut into the aluminum causing the metal burrs to cut into the pad material. Has been replaced with a higher quality set.

Material ? any connection? Not sure, but very hard and will rub against the rim (regardless of multiple bolt adjustment sizes) and wear away the rim paint. Also, the color of the pad is not red, but a pale pink, like erasing on a pencil. The brakes squeak so loud. And they sent me 2 pairs of front ones (no rear ones?).

Installed on an old Specialized Rock Hopper from the early 90's with old cable brake calipers. The fit was tight and required fine tuning of the spacers. Very close to the tires but I was able to get it to work. They quickly stop the bike after replacing the old vitrified rubber.

Bought these brake pads for use on a 1st generation Cannondale Quick. I made a small mistake in the first choice of pads (they were totally useless), but these pads are excellent. Easy to assemble and you can literally stop using it. Highly recommended and I would happily buy more.

I drive about 700-800 miles a season. I mounted all 4 on my comfort bike (with Tekro V-Brake brakes) which hasn't had its brake pads changed in a few seasons. They worked great. Good mounting material included. Very easy to assemble and adjust. No squeaks! For the price they are great. I'm looking forward to a few seasons of this. Plus, they're a great red color!

Very bad for front wheel, acceptable for rear wheel. The front pad grips the rim too much - very difficult to flatten - dangerous for sudden stops. No adjustment fixed the problem. The pad material appears to burn off on the rim, leaving a thick residue that further impairs braking. Fits the rear wheel, but I swapped them out anyway. A much better choice are Alritz bike brake pads, which I give 5 stars.
