Very important! - Filter accessories

For my granddaughter's aquarium, I fumble for a small bag of Korbin and put it over the organic bag. Buying this product makes carbon really cheap. I'm just taking some coal from one of these bags to use in the bag we already have. This Corbin will last a very, very long time. The carbon is a good size so it doesn't fall out of the bag we already have. That works great for us.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation

  • No

Great bag and carbon fiber! highlighted.

Excellent product. A few months ago I couldn't find 1 pound of coal. It was 4 lbs, it can be sealed in plastic, then individually resealed and then in a strong zipped bag. Washed, and sometimes soot is covered with dust. It was a lot less dust than I'm used to. Carbon is a small cylinder (I hope you can see it in the photo). I needed something for my garden pond. Hooray!

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Clarity

NOT recommended for use in water, especially for fish.

Not sure about this granular charcoal. We used it in our fish camp to hopefully clear the water and remove the lingering haze we were having. After installation we had problems with dead fish and the water remained cloudy despite being in our filtration system which goes through all the water several times a day. When we removed the bags of coal, the dying stopped. Not recommended for use in water.

Pros
  • Durable finish

  • Some cons

Just great, that's all I can say!

What I like about these bags is that they are zippered so you can make your own mesh bag for smaller aquariums. I have a 750 gallon pond with my 2.1 foot carp that I call my water pups. I give away 2 bags every month. It keeps the water clean and free from toxins. I also throw the bag in my 100 gallon quarantine pond. I have a 29 gallon tropical tank. I make small mesh bags out of ziplock bags and throw them in my tropical aquarium. Keeps water crystal clear as pre-packed carbon cartridges…

  • Impressive
Cons
  • Expensive
