Terrible! The shaft broke in less than an hour

I was stupid enough to buy that horrible Chinese scraper. Screws come out every 2-3 minutes. Then the shaft broke, splitting in two within the first hour. I will never buy a Chinese floor scraper again. It's just a waste of money and time.

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • big and bulky

Bolts break on first use without beveled edge

Like most bolts, bolts broke after first use. It doesn't even have a beveled edge, so it bites the concrete when it just needs to slide across the surface and adopts a sleek attitude. You should have used class 12 screws here. Instead, they used cheap steel bolts that sheared off instantly.

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • Update available

Works well with a few adjustments

Worked great removing tile and laying thin on terrazzo for an hour or two then the screws wouldn't stop turning every 5 minutes. A pedal lock was added and the problem was fixed, although the bolts still broke sometimes. So buy a few extra ones so you don't have to hunt for a replacement. Not perfect, but quite satisfied, solid 4 stars. Didn't damage the terrazzo underneath!

Disappointment: Adhesive Remover

I bought this tool to remove thin tiles. I have a powerful Bosch variable speed jackhammer. This tool barely ripped the tile and barely removed the thin hardened grout from the concrete. I thought the blade might need sharpening so I sharpened the beveled edge and that was only a minor improvement. then, after about 10 minutes of wasted time, the screws began to loosen. That's when I get my solid 3in. Chisel back and did what I usually do. I thought this 6 foot wide tool would speed me up, but…

I sent it back but still a great product.

Quality product for the money, well packaged even with a set of extra screws. It just didn't work for me so I sent it back. My job was to scrape off excess grout from 30 years of tile installation. To be fair, this may have been the type of grout used on my floor, as YouTube videos show the same tool doing the same job quickly and easily. Either way, it's still a well-made product and a lot easier than installing an old ceramic tile subfloor. PS: I used a $179 SDS-Max mid-size jackhammer/drill…

Not very well made product

I bought this attachment to use with my 11 lb Makita jackhammer for medium to thin tile removal. I couldn't even get half of my job done and the racquet pins started vibrating. About every 2 minutes I had to pull them up. Eventually one fell out so I pulled them all out and replaced them with the four spares that came with it. I worked with the new bolts for about 5 more minutes, then they also started vibrating and falling out. A quick look at the bolts shows that the vibration of the chisel…

  • Very impressive

  • dull packaging
