Chain is exactly as described on Revain and appears chrome plated. Quality is good and costs about half that of a non-chromed product at your local pet store. It doesn't get any better!

Nice collar but be careful when choosing the length. The chain has a total length of 22 inches from ring end to ring end, not link end to link end, which is 19.5 inches, which is a usable length. I had to reorder a longer chain, 24 inches.

We have 4 dogs, 3 Bulldogs and 1 Rhodesian Ridgeback. Have had them for about 2 months, they have retained their shine and seem very durable and a bit thicker than other chokes we have used. I highly recommend these collars.

I have a pit bull and when we rescued her her head wasn't as big as it is now. She has a 20" chain and her head has outgrown her size. The extra two inches makes a huge difference and it's a lot easier for her to get around her head. This is a good solid chain, just like the one our trainer recommended. We bought the first one from a certain store so we could get the right size and weight that the trainer said we needed. When it came time to increase the size, I found a chain at another store for less money, but they weren't the right length. I came to Revain and found the exact same brand for less than half the money. I'll be back when my pup's neck grows another two inches.

This is a high quality choke chain. Cheaper ones will not be returned after correction. I will stick with this brand so I know what I'm getting. This one comes back well and is well made. If you have not used a choke chain before, it must be put on the dog in a specific way, otherwise it will not come off after correction. For those who gave him a star for not being possessed, maybe you shouldn't train a dog. The person involved in the training must be smarter than the dog.
