🐾 Coastal Pet Products Latigo Leather Round Dog Collar, 5/8" x 16 Review

Good quality as in the photo. My dog is 10 years old and has had the same collar since we got him at 8 months. It broke a few weeks ago and I was going to buy him a similar collar as it suits him well. It has to be accurate. We didn't go for his original collar as he got it from the Humane Society but when I compare it to this one it's identical. We are very glad we found it for him. A testament to the quality is that his original collar lasted 10 years.

While I was really impressed with the quality of these collars, the sizing is odd. I first bought a large after measuring my dog's neck at 14 inches but after reading another review that said the medium ones were very small. The big one was so big, even in the tightest opening, that it could be pulled out. So I then ordered a medium size thinking it would fit him as it is 16 inches tall. This collar is perfect for my little Boston Terrier who has a short thick narrow neck and is very uncomfortable in regular collars. The skin feels comfortable and comfortable. My only concern is that the loop to attach the leash to is not very strong. Our first collar broke while attaching his collar to the loop (it's small but strong). Nice collar. It has a small roll diameter, which is not visible in the photo but is described in the specifications. I bought this for my pup, she was 25lbs and now 35 and we have moved the buckle around as needed. If she outgrows it, I'll look for one with a thicker diameter.
