Coastal Poly Big Dog Black Review

This was noted for small breeds and lightness. I picked it up while I harnessed my cat and let her run around the garden. I know most people won't think of this as a cat, but I wanted to mention that the rope is light enough, but the clamp is quite large and heavy compared to the weight of the rope itself. I could see that a fairly small document could have trouble with this.

Bought this to get my German Shepherd and Labrador out the back door. My German Shepherd fights daily to get close to the neighbor's dog. He rubs the deck. This lead lasted about a year before breaking it. I replaced it with the exact same wire because of its lightweight design and the fact that it doesn't tangle like the red wire.

THIS company's fishing line for some reason was constantly twisting around dogs' paws and twisting into large knots. I've had many other brands with no problems. It looks like they have been twisted during the manufacturing process, making them act like a spring. I bought 2 and both are recovering. I don't use them anymore, very dangerous for my dog. The line hurt her, I do not recommend this product for pets. Zero stars makes me give one.

I just received this and was very happy to use it because of all the great reviews. As soon as I put my 6 month old dog on it she started chewing on it. It looks very sturdy from the photos and some reviewers have mentioned that larger dogs can be placed on it. Well I can't use that because if I leave her there for 5 minutes she will swallow it whole. He also continues to wrap around her legs. I would not recommend this at all.

Our pet is a 39 lb Puggle. Lightweight and tangle free Seems very durable too Let's see how it holds up this coming winter! If you have a puppy that is still in the phase of chewing on everything in front of them, I would think it's best to wait until that phase is over! We had nylon leashes to walk our pup at the time and she chewed on it until she outgrew it! Very happy with the product

What I really like is the flexibility of the line. Not as painful as ropes when the dog jumps and catches you - and very gentle on the dog. A dog MAY chew on it lest they leave the dog on it unattended, but it's also a great leash for indoors when puppies are being trained and needs to be kept in the same room. I was looking for a lighter weight harness so my older girl could use it while sitting in the garden with her. I had high expectations for this tie especially as it is made by Coastal Pet Products. I really hope it will last longer than our wire ropes that we buy. Our dog keeps breaking wire ropes, she bends them, and then they rust, and in the end she can tear them. She chewed on it, but so far it hasn't hurt much. EDIT: I changed my rating to 5 stars. That connection was great, it came out once, but it just had to be luck on their part. The only part of the tie that has damage is where she chewed, but it didn't get any worse. This bond lasted longer than almost 3 coated wires.

Purchased on November 11, 2016. Before purchasing, we changed 3-4 lines a year. We used to buy lines with a plastic coating. Our dog inevitably got stuck on the same pole or something and rubbed the rubber, and shortly thereafter the wire became unusable. These bungee cords broke much more often in winter.
