Excellent Surge Protector for Computer Equipment

As someone who is cautious about investing in surge protectors for my computers, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and effectiveness of this product. My analysis showed that it provided excellent protection for all of my equipment while also being easy to install and use. The bulkhead design was particularly convenient for managing multiple devices and minimizing clutter. The only downside was that it was a bit more expensive than some other options I considered, but I ultimately…

Pros
  • Provides excellent protection for computer equipment; bulkhead design minimizes clutter.
Cons
  • Somewhat more expensive than other options.

CaThisn is inexpensive.

This coaxial surge arrester appears to be well made, it uses a single gas voltage clamp to discharge surges in excess of around 90 volts. Is this breakdown voltage low enough to avoid damage to your radios? Depends on the design of your radio. I've had phone surge arresters that prevent incoming transients from damaging phones and they work. I just hope this device performs as well as the phone arresters I've used in the past. Working in telecommunications, I've seen what equipment can do to…

Pros
  • UHF Female to Female Coaxial Surge Arrester SO-239 50 ohm Jack for Lightning Protection of CB Radio, Ham Radio. Requires additional ground wire (10 AWG)
Cons
  • Not all will fit
