Cheap because CHEAP

16 mile transfer my ass**. Not even close. My dad and I used them to communicate between cars on the road and after a quarter mile they started breaking. They're almost completely weightless, they reminded me of toy walkie-talkies from the 90's. The battery life also sucks. Don't waste your money if you want reliability and range; get something else.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Not worth the trouble

One radio worked, the other didn't. I tested both with a third working radio and the failed one made no sound at all. I called customer service and they offered to fix it if I sent it back to them. I don't have to pay anything to return an item if it's defective right out of the box. I'd rather send it back to Revain and buy another pair than send a brand new radio back to the manufacturer.

  • Amazing

Ideal for short distances

I bought these for use in our RV so my wife and I can communicate when she is outside and help me park, store or drive into a hard to access spot. We like their economy, light weight, ease of use and good speech intelligibility. We only use them for a short distance so I can't vouch for the range, just saying we checked the distance once and lost contact after just a mile or two. So I wouldn't recommend them if you're looking for range/mileage.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Dear

Very bad range. False advertising at best

False advertising at its best. All those long distances are claimed, but it barely covers 500 feet before losing signal. It is also in the country where there is nothing but fields and trees. You don't need that for an emergency call. This is for communication over a very short distance. Maybe not bad if you have kids playing in the garden and don't want to go outside and yell. Though maybe someone just out of range heard you scream.

Pros
  • LONG RANGE UP TO 16 MILES: Extended range provides up to 16 miles of range.
Cons
  • Secret
