I wanted a CD player to listen to audio books while walking. It doesn't complete the bill. It bounces when I walk, forcing me to hold it in my hand. It doesn't stay in the same spot on the CD when I turn it off, causing me to have to fast-forward to find the correct spot I last listened to on the CD. Revain delivered the CD on time.

After reading the reviews we found out that this player reported omissions. But our intended use was the sauna, not running. We wanted a cheap (read: cheapest) CD player to add some music to, that's all. Well we got what we paid for. The device has basic controls, works fine, but every tap (reading, opening and closing the sauna door) results in a pass. Annoying but not annoying. I wouldn't even consider this for use in traffic situations (driving, moving, walking) but your mileage may vary.

For the first few weeks after purchasing this CD player when I plugged it into the wall using the universal adapter it played for a while before abruptly shutting down and it will be some time before I can turn it off, it's back. This never happens when I use batteries, but since this player is intended for home use, it became an issue. Since then it very rarely turns off when I plug it into an outlet.
