Easy to use. I like its aesthetic. The glass is not as thick as I would like, but the quality is good. I like that there are dimensions on the glass to navigate through.

I was fed up with my moldy old Mr. Coffee so I tried this method. Very durable carafe and coffee pot. I use Melitta filters because it's easier to clean and tastes the same as without a filter. I have a gooseneck kettle to direct the water and I drink Starbuck quality coffee every morning now. Ahhh it's great to enjoy a cup of good strong coffee despite seeing heartbreaking news every morning about pathetic politicians cheating us.

I use it for both coffee and loose tea. That works great. The handle makes it easy to carry and you can use both hot and cold water. Easy to clean, the mouth is wide enough to fit my hand comfortably. Mesh mesh is a little painful to clean. The holes are wide enough for pellets to get stuck in, some tea leaves will actually pass through them if small enough. I would recommend using gauze with it if you want it to be 100% filtered.

My filter fell apart after only 7 months of use. The rim has come off the basket. It held together with the blue for a while, but then fell apart again. I liked this filter and I'm hesitant to switch to another filter, but I can't find it for sale anywhere. This item was delivered on time and in good condition, well packaged and has met my expectations so far. Glass is no different from every coffee pot, so care must be taken when cleaning it. The gold filter basket is easy to clean and my coffee wasn't ground which is great as my plunger (French press) tends to leave a grind.
